The fact that we didn't have a replacement holiday yesterday was very confusing, but anyhow school started again. Nothing exciting there - I'm taking Intro to Classical Mythology as my A&S course this term, and some interested music history electives: Music, Theatre and Spectacle in the 17th Century, and The Operas of Mozart. I'm
really looking forward to the Mozart course - partly because it's Professor Parker (who is wonderful) and because it's Mozart! =D Of course there is still the unpleasantness of Counterpoint, but I will endure it with gritted teeth.
Somewhere between my Early Ensemble Class and the Music/Theatre/Spec class I lost my gorgeous green scarf that I bought in Germany. I was quite upset because it is very pretty and functional! My only solace was that it wasn't too cold out so I could run out in the cold scarf-less and not die. I popped in at the Eaton Centre and picked up a new scarf, this time in "Patty Blue." I do hope someone finds my scarf for me :(

This morning I had a follow up appointment at my dentist to get something filled - I'm still not sure what. It was 1.5 hours of unpleasantness that involved drilling, glueing, bonding something, filling, UV light, grinding and polishing 3 spots that I didn't even know anything was wrong in. I can stand all of the above, but somewhere in that process she cut my lip! It is now very tender and hurts to eat! But what can I say - she's a dental surgeon and she has a reputation for being "heavy handed." At least I don't need to see her again for another 10 months.
