Dripping in yards of organza, satin and gabardine

After work today Tiff and I went to our favourite Fabricland location to take advantage of their massive one-day sale. Everything was 50%-75% off and I was like a kid in a candy store. We bought all the fabric we will need for our costumes this year - 8 projects in total - as well as cute pajama flanelette for Tiff. She's anticipating her Fashion class assignment, and this is the best sale that is going to happen for another 3 months. She had a stack of satin and organza in her arms up to her chin - and that didn't include what I was carrying! The total damage was over $400 - atrocious!! - but since I have now committed a substancial investment in the fabric it means no backing out. And to think, this is only the fabric and doesn't take into account wigs and other accessories. ACK!! 0__0
