Let him wear pants.

Today's task was to find a pair of black dress pants for Kevin that - a.) fit him properly around the waist/hips/thighs b.) didn't make his butt look big c.) had no pleats!! d.) didn't cost more than $30. We went to seriously about 10 stores... some ok options, some horrible options and some were waaaayyy too expensive. He tried on a pair of $20 pants at Zara that looked awesome on the hanger, but looked SO bad on him... Let's just say they were made for someone with the butt of a ballet dancer -__-" Finally we went to Sears and found the mens suits section. OMG!! ALL of the dress pants had pleated fronts. I was in PANT HELL!!! I was about to lose all hope, when I rifled through the $25 sale section and found some pleatless stright-leg dress pants. Fidgiting with the sizes with Kevin in the dressing room was something strange... I never noticed how weirdly proportioned guys are Anyhow, good pants. Hurray! Kevin made my day when we were looking around for an inexpensive tuxedo shirt. I picked up one that was decent, and he picked out an even nicer one! My boy has learned about tuxes... =D Now I can attempt to make him a jacket with tails. I swear - it this goes badly we will rent a tux for the JCCC weekend >__<" I found the quilt batting that eluded me yesterday and picked up some Heat n' Bond. *rah*
