When I was very young my aunt bought me a copy of the "Victorian Fashion Paper Dolls from Harper's Bazar" and took the time to cut out all of the dresses, hats and characters. I lost it somewhere in the abyss of my basement (probably due to my mother throwing it out...) I was quite sad because the dresses in that book were GORGEOUS and everything was printed on high quality cardstock. They don't make things like that anymore. When I was in Grade 5 I came across a copy of that book while I was at the Gibson House in North York on a school trip. It was a total fluke to find it again, but I bought it again for sentimental reasons. I spent lots of time cutting out the characters and dresses and it was a labour of love. I remember the pain I was in cutting cardstock with horrible quality scissors...
Tiff reminded me of that book again tonight because she's doing a Victorian project for her fashion class - and we can't find the book! We tore my room up looking for it, but to no avail... -_-" Tiff then tore up her "under the bed" space and FOUND IT!! Now she's playing dollies on my floor... hahaha!! ^__^'
