Geta sandals and tabi socks
We had a family outing to the JCCC's Haru Matsuri (Spring Festival) this afternoon since I we got free admission vouchers when we went to the JCCC Valentine's Day dance in February. It's always fun to look at women wearing properly fitted kimonos with gorgeous obis ^__^ And some of the ones we saw were GORGEOUS. The embroidery and detailing was breathtaking... *drools* My grandmother bought me a pair of traditional wooden Japanese platform sandals (geta) and a pair of white split-toe socks (tabi). Since I couldn't try anything on I had to estimate the sizing. The tabi socks are sold in centimeter sizes o_0' I asked the lady at the booth for help. She was really cute - she took one look at me and said "Large!" hehehe.... So now I know that I wear size 23.5-24.5 in socks. Hehe... I will need to cover the pink fabric on the geta with black velvet so that I can wear them the next time I take my Yûko costume out. Here's a picture of them -

That was months ago... I've been good since then. I don't forsee anymore shoes for a while. I'm wearing my white stilts for my AN costume and I have 3 pairs of concert shoes and a pair of concert SLIPPERS now.
You know you love me ^__~
