The start of a short break. Kind of.

Tafelmusik had the official season concert today..and thank goodness! I am SO tired and worn out... It really has been non-stop for the past couple of months, mostly since the OA production was stuffed in after a concert run and then we had Deborah this week. It was mentally and physically difficult to do the concert this afternoon. During the first half I warned Leo that I might faint on him - luckily I didn't. I'm looking forward to a bit of downtime - kind of - since I have to start fulltime hours (plus) at the office on Tuesday.

I get 9 days off and then there are more rehearsals and concerts - there are "unofficial" since they aren't part of our season programme, but it's still a hell of a lot of work for me. Thank goodness for the massive stash of Isla Moos taht I sent over from Germany ^__~

I went to Fabricland this afternoon and picked up some fabric for my TT costume. The color is perfect, the texture is lovely and it was Buy 1, Get 2 free which wasn't bad at all since the Mother's Day sale ended... *rawr* I also bought a LOTR Simplicity pattern that I plan to make some alterations to. This costume will involve princess seaming and that's not something I want to guess and test or freehand. I'd rather spend $5 and not waste 3 yards of fabric. Really tired... @_@
