Leipzig - part 1
Tonight Brynne and I were desparate to find anyone who knew how to navigate Leipzig in todger to find a place to have dinner. We ended up catching up with Hollie, Michael B. and Margarete. Hollie lead us to the Thomaskirsche and then to a little café/ restaurant called the Coffe Baum. It turns out that Robert Schumann used to frequent it very often, along with other famous people like Felix Mendelssohn and Gustav Mahler. I found out later that it is actually the second oldest café in Europe (the oldest being in Paris). It was a nice Saxonian dinner and Hollie kindly treated us to dessert!
Afterwards Brynne and I walked back to the Marriot to take a dip in the pool and enjoy the sauna. Sadly the jacuzzi was only about 30C so it wasn't exactly a hottub, but the massage jets were still relaxing =P
It was a nice way to end the day after spending 5 hours on trains.
