Leipzig - part 2
After a decadent breakfast we all headed to the Thomaskirsche to rehearse the B Minor Mass.
I had dreamt last night that I had a muscle spasm in my leg, but when i woke up I realized that it hadn't been a dream -__-" I had a crazy spasm in my right leg and my entire right calf was so cramped that i couldn't set my foot flat on the floor so I had to wear high heels to the rehearsal. Stiletto heels on cobblestone streets are NOT fun -__-"
After the morning rehearsal, Phil asked me to take him to the Coffe Baum café so I did. He felt bad that I could barely walk so he piggy-backed me part of the way LOL!! JP, Elena, both Gunta's, Misel and Robyn also came and we all had coffee and ice cream and great conversation.
Afterwards the group split up and went its separate ways. JP and I did a bit of sight-seeing and shopping walking around the city. I bought a Schappi plushie for 10 Euro!
I took a brief nap in the afternoon before getting ready for the concert. It was an exhilarating experience to sing the B Minor Mass in the Thomaskirche. However, between my cramped leg and having to sit on the steps the physical experience was not what I had envisioned. It was still thrilling and a beautiful performance and certainly one of the most special moments that I will carry with me forever.
