Huzzah for employee discounts!

I had a screening interview for Sephora today. It's hard to say how I came across in a room full of 15 other girls, but it was a bizarre experience. One girl brought her entire traincase with her and many of them had so much makeup on they would put the MAC counter artists to shame. One girl had fake eyelashes that looked like she stole from RuPaul 0__0 Is this the new job interview standard? Show up in jeans, Pumas and hoochie makeup? I also couldn't get past how YOUNG all of them looked. Seriously, I find it weird thinking about me selling anti-wrinkle cream, but 16 year old high-school students trying to pawn that stuff off seems even more ridiculous.

In other news, I've gone back to Jacob. Same great company, new location. I loved the Exchange but the 7am mornings were brutal. What is neat is that they gave me back my old employee number so on a weird level I have seniority over most of the ladies in the store, but really I don't LOL. It felt so natural being in a retail environment... which is a weird thing to say because it certainly isn't where I plan to be for too long.

Before even getting my first paycheck I have already rolled $200 onto my Visa. I bought a pair of "practical" work shoes and a few items from Jacob. The shoes cost more than the 7 items I bought at Jacob 0__0

In other news, CBC will be picking up Armide (yay! $$$) - so that's some compensation for the fact that I couldn't sort out the ACTRA-Equity mess before this production. It doesn't matter - I do it because I love it.

Oh yes - Happy Birthday Tiffy!!
