Armide - coming together

I had the first full rehearsal's for Opera Atelier's production of Armide over the weekend it I can't wait for things to get started in the theatre tonight. The sets and costumes look great (from what little I have seen), the singers are wonderful, the music is great and the dancers are phenomenal. The chorus doesn't do very much, which is a nice change from the Dido-Actéon stuff from April.

I want to share a beautiful photo that was taken at a promotional shoot for the production. This looks SO much like a Canova statue. One of the dancers, James Leja, is Eros and Stephanie Novacek is Armide.
