Maple Story costuming and the flu shot
I decided on Sunday that I was going to make a Maple Story costume, with the intent of wearing it for a short jaunt at Con no Baka. The deciding factor was that I had enough gold satin left over from Yuuko and Tiff has tons of leftover fabric from Gabriel. In a crazed moment of boredom a few weeks ago I started sculpting the circlet out of Fimo so I did have something to work off of.
So far I have used about 8m of tulle in the crinoline and it still isn't poofy enough! I took a break from sewing last night to do a photoshoot with Tiff of her Lacus costumes, since we don't have many decent photos of it. It is amazing that of over 50 shots, only about 15 are useable (and only half of those are REALLY good). Let that be a tip to people who take over 100 shots in a photoshoot and upload EVERYTHING (blurry, cropped and just plan oogly) online -__-"
This afternoon I went out and got the flu shot. Then I came home and Tiff showed me something hilariously traumatizing. There are no words... just ...... no words @__@
Hopefully I can make it for CnB. If I rush up from my gig at the One of a Kind show next Saturday I can probably get there around 4-5pm. Sunday is still up in the air until I get my schedule from work. They don't usually schedule me on Sundays, but I am working tomorrow o__0"
