My 22
I had planned for a quiet day in today, but Kevin had a "free admission on your birthday" pass for Famous Players so we went out and saw Harry Potter. Then we shopped a little bit downtown but it was fairly cold so we had an early dinner at Marché. After dinner we went back to his house and just hung out for a while. It was nice.
As for the film, I thought it was alright. It's true that a lot of things were missing, but since I didn't really remember much about the book it didn't matter to me. I just remembered the general flow of the plotline. The Scottish accent on Cho was weird, but I was more annoyed that they made the tournament seem so short. Mind you, the book was a brick and they couldn't put everything into it. For what it was, I thought it was a decent book to movie adaptation.
My final though for this post, is regret that I didn't go into residence my first year. My "domestic situation" (meaning the menopausal, cranky woman) is getting to the point of unbearable.
Ah well. Tomorrow is a new day. I'll continue with the repetative, humdrum routine and be no warmer for it.
