Patty and Stef take downtown!

Since they cancelled my shift at work today, I met up with Stefan again and we went out - just out, not plan in mind. We walked down University Ave to Osgoode Hall and then went across Queen Street. We popped into lots of interesting stores, some that I've never been in before sinc I usually attack Queen St. with a "seek, find and buy" mentality. It was a nice change to just browse and shop around. We popped into Malabar and played around with the costume rentals. We checked out most of my main Queen St. haunts, and also discovered some new ones. Stef spotted a FANTASTIC vintage shop that had a huge mens section - JP, you and I have to head down there some time when you're in TO, some of that stuff is SO you.

After walking down to almost Bathurst to the temporary location for Mokuba, we headed backwards toward Spadina. At the McDonalds I spotted Winnie and a couple of friends 0__0" We said hi, and then continued up into Chinatown. Stef was a bit shocked by one of the restaurants that had the roasted duck, chicken and pig hanging in the window display. And seeing the Chinese herbal places was also something new too. I showed him what to look for when he's hunting for Gooboomafoo in Ottawa (aka Guava Juice, haha!). We had a fun afternoon just goofing around! I took a few photos, but since I left the camera adapter at Kevin's I'll have to wait before uploading them.
