A happy audition
I had my audition for the FES this summer. I still hate auditions since I never feel like a solo singer, and even though this is an audition for a choral program I always leave feeling like I could have done better. In all likelihood I did well - I sang my pieces well, I knew the excerps and the panel were familiar with me and were all "hi and smiles" which I will take as a good sign.
I also bought a straightening iron today. It has an adjustable temperature dial, which is cool. The ones I've seen at Shoppers never do (and Kevin tells me that people always return them), so I'll give this new toy a go. If I don't like it I can always return it.
