Da Vinci didn't happen, Hedge and free pizza

Yesterday I went out with Kevin, Tiff and Nhan to the Paramount intending to watch the Da Vinci code. I sent Tiff and Nhan ahead while I met Kevin at work to make sure he left on time. The line-up for the show was massive so they weren't able to get any decent seats for us, so Kev and I traded in our tickets and watched Over the Hedge instead.

It was very entertaining and SO cute. I enjoyed it very much and Tiff was able to fill me in on the details of the Da Vinci Code. Kevin and I are planning on seeing it tomorrow instead. I re-listened to my audiobook today just to go over the ending (since Tiff lent my book to Nhan).

After work today I didn't feel like going out for a family dinner so I went to Kevin's house and curled up on the couch with the cat to watch some TV. There wasn't anything to eat so I called up Pizza Pizza to have a Canadian and Classic Supreme delivered. The guy who took my order must have made a mistake because when my order arrived, I got a Canadian and a weird concoction with pepperoni, mushrooms and green olives o_0" So I called their customer service line and told them what happened and the lady apologized for the mix-up and said they'd send over the Supreme right away, and in the meantime we could eat as much of the pepperoni-olive pizza as we wanted as they wouldn't be asking for it back. My reaction was a mixture of thanks, suprise and confusion . . . why would they want the weird pizza back o_0"

Anyhow, the pizza arrived 30 mins later and now Kevin has 3 large pizzas sitting in his house - hehe. I'm glad to see that Pizza Pizza was so quick to fix their error.

Speaking of errors - I've sorted out the mess with KidRobot. They've offered me a full refund (including shipping costs) and a gift certificate to their store as compensation since the bears I ordered are now out of stock. I was able to pick up the wind-up walking baby Gloomy Bear at Toys² at FMP (yay!) so now I just need to track down my fuzzy bear.
