Opera Workshop and Informal Concert

Aoife and I worked with Marshall today on one of the witch scenes from Purcell's Dido and Aeneas. It was a very short scene but a lot of little things happens so he had a lot of ideas for staging it. I think I pulled all the muscles in my legs -__-"

I took some pictures which I've uploaded to my Flickr account (no more photobucket for me!).

Today was also the long haul concert day for all the small ensembles to perform what they've been working on. It was very informal - heck it was in the lobby of the music building - but the quality of music was wonderful. I took some video clips of a few of the performances and I'm slowly uploading onto youTube - slowly!

Tomorrow we move to Grace Church-on-the-Hill to rehearse for our "grand finale" concert.

I recognise a lot of faces here... Marshall is a beautiful man... I wonder if I should be pursuing the early music world more...

What's the deal with Flickr? Why did it convert you? LOL

1) They don't resize my photos. For viewing purposes you can look at a resized version, if you want to download you can get small, medium, large, or original sizes. So if you want to print them yourself, you can.

2) Permanent archiving of original files.

3) Photobucket lets me make albums private/public. With Flickr I can do it on a photo by photo basis if I want to

4) Unlimted bandwidth and 2 gigs of photo uploads a month (I have a paid account -$2 a month).
