15 men on a dead man's chest . . .

I went out tonight with Kevin, Tiff and Nhan to see Pirates of the Caribbean 2 at the Paramount. Since Tiff and I came from work we were famished so we stopped into Sushi Time and got some take-out and ate it in the theatre while we were hogging seats. It was pretty odd eating sushi in a movie theatre o_0" (although I'm glad I had the sushi before the movie since the nasty octopus tentacle scenes put me off fish for a while...

I enjoyed the movie quite a bit. It's hard to make comments on the "middle" movie of a trilogy since the storylines tend to suffer the task of trying to tie everything together and create cohesion between the original and the finale. The fight scenes were awesome and the comp-animation was awesome. There were also moments when I thought to myself "The score is awesome. I wonder who composed it?" - duh it was Hans Zimmer =)

Hopefully I get a chance to see Superman and Devil Wears Prada soon too.

I dunno, I kept wanting sushi or takoyaki during the Cthulhu scenes. *lol*
