New iPod acquisitions

I made good use of today by downloading some new music for my iPod. Most of you know I'm a sucker for 50's malt-shop/ jukebox stuff since I grew up listening to Buddy Holly. I found a great list of musicfiles at http://haremsheiks.com/MALT-SHOP-MEMORIES except that all of the files are Real Media - grrr! So I used that list as a starting point and found torrents for some of the songs I like the most.

I have a good collection of Bobby Darin, Bobby Vinton, and Beach Boys - and threw in some Alanis since I found a torrent for it. If anyone wants I found my cd of The Beatles that has everything they ever released, nicely arranged by albums and singles. If anyone has any Frankie Valli send it my way!

I'm happy because my library requests are all "in transit" so I'll finally get the soundtrack for Sunset Boulevard!
