Überlingen - Day 3

More rehearsing. I passed out this afternoon and took a long and much needed nap, (but staying up till 3am chatting with Brynne last night sure didn't help). Damn, I was tired. I think my body is finally over the jet lag. The Mozart pieces are coming together and I'm realling looking forward to our first rehearsal with the orchestra and Maestro Rilling tomorrow morning.

From previous years, I recall that Friday night dinners are always a bit sketchy (tonight it was that babyfood and applesauce stuff again) so Brynne, Christine and I went down to my favourite little café down in town - the Café Piccolo. The adorable waiter that was there last year was there again and now I know his name: Antonio D'Angelo. Dinner was delicious, made only more perfect by the wonderful tiramisu.

It turns out a lot of people weren't exactly satisfied with dinner and came into town as well. A bunch of us sat on the steps chatting for a while, with some wine and beer being passed around. It was fun but the three of us decided to come back up to the campus. The night sky is so clear and gorgeous - you can see stars to the furthest regions of the sky. There have even been some shooting stars.

I love this place. Time has no meaning here.
