Flutter flutter

After work on Friday afternoon, Frances took me up to see her aesthetician friend and I had eyelash extensions done. I am so amused. I have these fabulous eyelashes now - and so far I've only lost about 5 LOL. The lady individually glued each extension onto my own eyelash so the effect is very natural. And my new order of contact lenses came in on Thursday as well, so to go with my new lashes I now have BRONZE eyes.

Yesterday I picked Kevin up after work and we did some last minute shopping for my trip. I gave him the choice of going anywhere he wanted for dinner and he decided to go to Marché!! We ate so much that we both had tummyaches so we walked around downtown for a bit.

Today will be dedicated to packing for my trip, doing laundry and whatnot.

My flight lands on the 11th... Ugh - flying on Sept. 11th. Who was the genius who booked those tickets -__-"

Most Asian places don't charge too much for eyelash extensions. The place on top of Tea House 168 on Yonge immediately south of Bloor (it's called Spring Garden or something like that) charges $90 or so and that's too much.

The lady I went to charged me $60, which includes a touch-up. In theory the touch-ups take just as much work as the initial application since after 3-4 weeks the eyelashes pretty much all fall out. I'll let you know how long mine last LOL. So really it is $30 a session if you think about it.
