Vaughn Mills and a new plushie for me!

Kevin and I both had the day off today so we decided to take a trip up to Vaughn Mills Mall since neither of has been there since it opened and everyone keeps raving about how fabulous it is there. It took us almost 2 hours to get there, and it was our first experience with the VIVA and YRT line.

I wasn't exactly impressed with the mall - its' a MALL. It has STORES. -___-" Since I'm not really into buying discount designer name brand stuff, there wasn't much appeal to shopping there. However, Kevin did put together a really cute Hello Kitty plushie for me at Build-a-Bear. She's wearing a pink ballerina outfit, angel wings and Hello Kitty panties ^__^ I am very amused!

I spent a lot of time sorting out my address change today calling the 'important institutions.' For the not-so-important institutions I purchased the mail forwarding service from Canada Post because I know I will forget something. Despite all the changes my cell phone number is still the same - although it took me about 45 minutes with the Rogers Customer Service people to sort out.

I've been enjoying mundane things like grocery shopping and cooking, which I never really had to do for myself while I lived at home. For kicks I placed an order with grocerygateway.com (since I had a $10 credit from ages ago) and I was really impressed. Yeah the delivery/ service fee is a nuisance, but the produce is really fresh and the prices are on par with Loblaws for the most part. At least I know that it's there for when I'm feeling lazy =P Tonight we had a simple chicken stir-fry for dinner. Tomorrow - who knows? =)
