Chicken soup is good for the soul

Around bedtime last night I had a strange itch in my throat. The only way to describe it is that it felt like I had a clump of cat hair stuck at the back of my throat. It was dry, itchy, fuzzy and really annoying. I didn't think much of it, but when I woke up this morning my throat was so raw. I knew something nasty was going to develop today -__-"

I woke up late and had to call a cab to get to my training session in time. It's not too bad since it will be written off as a company expense, but I won't make a habit of it :P The day started off completely on the wrong foot since I went to the wrong building - although that was the address that 4 different people had given me! It turns out that head office had moved to the next building over. DIU! So I was late and felt moronic. Other than that, the training was technical stuff related and really not much that I didn't already know since I've been working with the computer system for almost 6 years anyhow.

After training, I had to head back to the clinic to close up since we are THAT short of staff that I couldn't have the afternoon off. It's not too bad though, our new receptionist is quite bright and catching on fast. I managed to get out of there around 7:15 tonight. I was feeling dizzy - mostly due to the fact that Tanya's perfume fell out of her locker and smashed onto the floor and made a big smelly mess. I went to SDM and picked up some Cold-FX which I hope will help me, and I found some Echinacea & Garlic capsules at home. I made myself a lovely bowl of chicken soup and I'm feeling better already.

I my co-sorkers haven't had much luck with that cold FX stuff. One took it for months. Then, when no one around was sick anymore, and she hadn't gotten sick, she stopped taking it. Immediately she got sick. I myself have never tried it. I stick with the Gingerale and chicken soup =)

By Co-sorkers, I mean co-workers. That's what I get for typing at 6:45 in the morning!!!
