A great way to finish off a day

This morning I went down to the ACTRA office to update my address - and it turns out that I am over-qualified to become a full member. They took my money ($600... ouch!) and upgraded me. That kind of screwed up the rest of our plans for the day, and has set me back about a month in terms of finances. I hate thinking about money.

We went over to One Million Comix to pick up the four Kingdom Hearts II figures that came in, and to put down another payment on Kevin's baby. There was a cute shirt I wanted to pick up for Tiff but they were sold out of mediums - durr.

We popped into Starbucks on a whim and they have resurrected my Oatmeal Raisin cookie!! I was SO happy!! I haven't enjoyed food like that since tiramisu in Überlingen. Oh how I have missed those cookies ^___^

Tonight was also the 25th Anniversary gala concert for the Tafelmusik Baroque Chamber Choir. We were at the George Weston Recital Hall, and it was a lovely change of venue compared to Trinity-St. Paul's. The concert was sold-out and the performance was stellar. As I've said before it was such a pleasure to sing next to Matt White, it felt so comfortable. There was a charming reception afterwards where the choir presented Ivars with 2 gifts: an engraved set of silver cufflinks from Tiffany's, and a heart-warming rendition of Willan's Rise Up My Love.
