Hard to believe it's September already

I spent Labour Day weekend in Vancouver. A few of the crew went to Moxie's for drinks and some dinner before crashing for the night. I was surprised at how busy it was! I worked with a Mandarin qualified FA named Marc who told me some interesting...er... "potty stories" about Beijing flights. Doesn't give me much enthusiasm to qualify my Mandarin language skills after hearing about some of the passengers - LOL.

This month I'm flying a lot between Ottawa and Montreal and I've been working with so many friends from my training. It's been awesome to see the familiar faces again!

Last Thursday I went out to lunch with Laura, Tiff and some of Tiff's classmates. We decided to stay close to her school so we went to Mr. Greenjean's at the Eaton Centre. I don't think any of us were impressed. The food was mediocre and the service was deplorable. Afterwards Laura and I did a bit of shopping and I took her to the Buff Nail Lounge for her first pedicure! ^__~"

I put myself available for extra flying and was sent down to Los Angeles this week. The weather is much nicer now! I'm looking forward to going back there later this year. Kevin and I still have to go to Universal Studios :)

In other news I finally got my MAC Pro card - so there will be a massive shopping spree happening soon! I also found out that my mother had an invitation to the Estée Lauder warehouse sale on Labour Day weekend... My mother, who has little interest in skincare and still has makeup in her drawer that is older than me @__@" Oh well LOL
