October was a good month :) I had a really great layover in Hong Kong a couple weeks ago and a bunch of us went out to Flower Market Street and the Ladies Market to do some shopping. Since it was the first time to HK for a couple of the girls we went out for dinner to try and show what "real" HK food is like. I found the Tiffany's bracelet for Kevin's sister - how fun was it to just walk in, try it on and say "I'll take it!." Funnily enough I found a knock-off of the same bracelet at the Ladies Market for a fraction of the cost. But a knock-off is a knock-off and you can't ever compare it to the real thing, especially when jewelery is concerned. I bought myself a new watch at Swatch - it's from the
Divimos collection and it's so pretty!!

My aunt had a spare ticket to Cirque du Soleil's production of Kooza on the 17th and invited me to see the show with her. It was a fantastic show! There were many diverse acts and the overall experience was spectacular. My favourite acts were the 3 contortionists, and the "hamster wheels of doom." I will definitely check out future performances because I was so impressed.

Stefan came into Toronto for a med student conference a couple weeks ago so we got together for brunch and a bit of walking around before I had to get off to the airport. It was so great to see him again! Of course we were both zombies since I had been up since 4am and he hadn't gone to bed until 3am - HAHA! Stef - are we still on for Andreas stalking? =P
I went out to dinner with my family and some relatives from my mom's side of the family for Tiff's birthday. It was supposed to just be a family dinner until they found out it was Tiff's birthday >__>" Oops! It was quite funny because mom "Tai-Chi'd" out Tiff's candle on her cake before Tiff could blow it out! Typical of my mom . . .
I'm off to London later tonight to visit Michelle for a couple weeks. I plan to pop up and visit Laura at her new campus home, and pop down to visit JP too. It should be fun!
